When I was just 11 years old, I imagined having a display window on Haywood Road, showcasing artifacts from the old businesses of West Asheville. This passion for preserving the history of my community led me on a remarkable journey.

In June of 2023, I was honored to receive full credit for the discovery of Wilson Chapel and the long-lost 1800’s cemetery in West Asheville.
